History and Volcanoes
Discover Italian volcanoes with an expert geologist.

One of the most exciting experience you can try is climbing the volcano of Stromboli, one of the most active in the world, which is situated in Aeolian Islands. This archipelago offers unique views and traditions, growing with a population that lived for centuries under active volcanoes.

We visit also Mount Etna, our biggest volcano. In the same time we discover Sicily and its interesting human heritage sites such as the Greek theatre in Taormina and the Greek town in Siracusa.

And what about Naples? The legendary Vesuvius, which buried the villages of Pompei and Ercolano in 79 AD, and the beautiful islands in front of the Gulf, Ischia and Capri. You’ll have, of course, the chance to taste a real pizza, in the city where it’s born.
